WiFi Speed Test Between Two Devices

Use a phone and laptop, two computers, or another pair of current browsers. The test exchanges temporary WebRTC signaling, validates the selected path, then sends generated data directly between the peers.

Pair without network configuration

The first device creates a short-lived code and QR link. The second opens the link, confirms its connection type and connects—without IP addresses, port forwarding or software installation.

Useful testing scenarios

Compare rooms, mesh nodes, device combinations, Ethernet and WiFi, or router placement. Keep one endpoint fixed when comparing locations.

A browser test has limits

The result includes WebRTC, encryption and browser overhead. It estimates usable browser-level transfer capacity rather than raw radio or TCP performance.
