Measure inside your network

Local Network Speed Test

An Internet speed test measures traffic to a remote server. A local network speed test measures performance between devices inside your home or office network.

What is local network throughput?

Throughput is the amount of application data successfully transferred over time. It is normally lower than a negotiated link rate because protocols, encryption and device processing add overhead.

Why direct-path validation matters

A relayed WebRTC connection would measure an Internet detour, not the LAN. This tool inspects the selected ICE candidate pair and refuses to label an ambiguous or relayed path as local.

Common reasons pairing fails

Guest WiFi isolation, separate VLANs, firewalls, VPNs and enterprise policies can prevent devices from opening a direct path even when both appear to use the same router.
